These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DEKT mobile application (the "App") developed by Sydney Spitz ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Users under 13 are not permitted to use the App.
You may create an account using an email address, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for:

The App is a single-player card game provided for entertainment purposes. You agree not to:
Your display name and scores may be visible to other players through in-app leaderboards. You agree to choose a display name that is not offensive, misleading, or infringing on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove or modify display names that violate this policy.
All content in the App — including but not limited to game design, artwork, animations, sounds, code, and text — is owned by Sydney Spitz and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written permission.
The App contains virtual in-game currency ("gold") that is earned through gameplay. This currency:
The App does not currently offer in-app purchases. If in-app purchases are introduced in the future, these Terms will be updated accordingly.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice. We are not obligated to provide updates, support, or maintenance. Game progress, scores, and account data may be affected by updates.
You may delete your account at any time through Settings in the App. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SYDNEY SPITZ BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sydney Spitz from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
